American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position in Brunswick, ME, requiring at least 2 years of experience and proficiency in a wide range of home health clinical skills.

Details

• Home health setting serving all levels of home health patients
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: 16 hours every 4th weekend
• Caseload of up to 27 patients
• No call requirements
• No floating required within the unit
• EMR: Epic
• Laptop and cell phone issued upon start

Requirements

• Active RN license — Maine (ME) or Compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of home health RN experience
• 2 years of med/surg experience preferred
• Proficiency in PICC management, Portacath management, and wound vac therapy management
• Experience with Pleurx catheter management
• Competency in ostomy teaching and management, G and JG tube teaching and management, and chronic disease teaching and management
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides skilled nursing care and patient education across a variety of home health diagnoses and conditions
• Candidates who reside within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (residents of ME or NH) are considered local and are subject to a different bill rate tier; local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during the application process
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
• Personal use of AirPods, laptops, and cell phones is prohibited while on duty
• Scrubs or presentable civilian clothing are acceptable attire
• Float policy: may be required to float between facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
