Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 2 years of OR experience for a hospital surgical tech position requiring candidates to live more than 25 miles from the facility.

Details

• Hospital operating room setting
• 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• On-call required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• NBSTSA CST certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience in a U.S. hospital required
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• High school diploma required
• Active license required (no pending), if applicable
• U.S. SSN required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Plan and prepare for surgical procedures and assist the surgeon throughout
• Responsible for sterilization of surgical equipment and assembly of scheduled and emergency case carts
• All AHA certifications must be current and on file
• CPI certification is mandated for this position
