Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring robotic surgery experience and on-call availability in a multi-specialty surgical setting.

Details

• Hospital-based surgical unit (Operating Room)
• Covers preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care
• Diverse surgical caseload including orthopedics (total joints, no spine), ophthalmology, GYN, urology, general surgery (appendectomy, lap chole, bowel, hernia), C-sections, ENT (tonsils), colonoscopy, and EGDs
• Robotic surgery experience required with Da Vinci and Mako robotic systems
• 10-hour day shifts, typically 6:00 AM–4:30 PM or 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• 4 shifts per week
• On-call required: one weekday per week (5:00 PM–6:00 AM) and approximately one weekend per month (24-hour call)

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Prior OR nursing experience required, including scrub and circulating roles
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgery (Da Vinci and Mako systems) required
• Two supervisory references (Supervisor, Manager, or Director) preferred for consideration
• Completed skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities span the full perioperative continuum: preop, intraop, and postop care
• No on-call for standard scheduling, but call shifts are a regular part of the role as noted above
