American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a NICU position requiring BLS and NRP certifications, with day shift scheduling at an academic medical center.

Details

• 13-week contract in a hospital NICU setting
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
• 3 weekends required per 6-week scheduling period
• Every other holiday required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required (pending VA license accepted at time of consideration)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be pending at time of consideration)
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Local candidates are welcome to apply — no radius rule in effect
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract; no time off approved during the first two weeks of assignment
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
• Floating may be required based on clinical experience
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification has an associated cost of approximately $185 if not already obtained
