American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a PICU position requiring BLS and PALS certifications, with night shift availability and a 13-week contract.

Details

• Position is in a Pediatric ICU (PICU) at an academic medical center
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• 3 weekends required per six-week schedule
• Floating may be required to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• PICU nursing experience required
• Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver's license and Social Security card copies required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the PICU
• No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract; no time off approved during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• Independence Day (July 4th) cannot be approved as time off
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
