Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room (OR) position in Maine, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and active ME or compact RN license.

Details

• Day shift schedule in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Pay period runs Sunday through Saturday
• Every other weekend may be required upon request by the Department Manager or Supervisor
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active ME RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required; ACLS required within 30 days of start
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate
• Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and team-oriented work style required

Additional Information

• Works under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Holiday coverage required for the following holidays: Christmas, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Travelers may work a maximum of 2 consecutive 13-week assignments at this facility before being required to leave for at least 26 weeks
