American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and travel and trauma background, working 12-hour night shifts in Oklahoma.

• ICU department in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3 days per week (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week, full-time
• Travel and trauma experience required for this role

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Travel and trauma nursing experience required
• Basic computer skills required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
• Full DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Responsible for assigned patient group, including assessment, documentation, medication administration, and IV/blood product management
• Collaborates with physicians during exams and minor diagnostic procedures
• Monitors and responds to physiological changes in ICU patients
• Educates patients and families on care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge planning
• Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff
• Previous travelers at this facility may return after a 6-month separation period following a maximum 26-week total assignment
• BSN is preferred but not required
• Compliance deadlines are strictly enforced; candidates should be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon acceptance
