American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology position requiring chemotherapy certification and at least one year of nursing experience in a Level 1 trauma setting.

Details

• Inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology unit in a Level 1 trauma hospital
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Pediatric patient population with conditions ranging from simple to complex, including hematology and oncology cases
• Responsibilities include initiating, regulating, and monitoring IV infusions and blood product administration
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OK RN license or current multistate compact (eNLC) RN license required
• Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, PALS, ACLS, APHON Chemotherapy, and ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required, including med/surg experience in a pediatric, Level 1 trauma setting
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Oncology experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Full Date of Birth (DOB) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates
• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may return after a 6-month separation period following 26 weeks of total tenure
• Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screening, background check, and medical requirements) must begin immediately upon acceptance of offer
• BSN from a board-approved program is preferred
