American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an outpatient Infusion Center position requiring a CA RN license and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider certification.

Details

• Outpatient Infusion Center setting
• Administers oncology and non-oncology infusion treatments to a diverse patient population
• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (8:00–18:30)
• Requires 4–8 weekend shifts per schedule month
• Holiday coverage required as needed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider certificate required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience with oncology and non-oncology infusion treatment administration required
• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions
• Develops and implements individualized plans of care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Fosters collaborative relationships among patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely communication
• No time-off requests will be approved for holidays, with the exception of 1 holiday per contract
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Former employees or travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
