Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift contract covering multi-unit care including ICU, ED, PACU, and stepdown across a diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, and adults.

Details

• Hospital-based respiratory therapy role spanning multiple units including ICU, ED, PACU, Medical Surgical, Stepdown, Nursery, and Ambulatory settings
• Patient population includes neonates, pediatric, and adult patients
• Procedures performed include oxygen therapy, ventilator management, breathing treatments, bedside PFTs, bedside bronchoscopies, and ABGs
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
• Requires a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per contract, approximately every third weekend
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care services across critical care, medical surgical, stepdown, nursery, ED, PACU, and ambulatory units
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
