American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level 1 academic medical center in St. Louis, MO, with on-call requirements and a wide range of advanced cardiac procedures.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a 356-bed non-profit, Level 1 research and academic medical center in St. Louis, MO
• Tertiary care facility affiliated with Saint Louis University School of Medicine and part of the SSM Health System
• Average daily census of 15–18 cases
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts (10:30–19:00)
• On-call required: 1 weekend per month and 3–4 days per month total
• Procedures include TAVR, right and left heart catheterization, Impella insertion, ECMO, IABP, TEE, cardioversion, EP ablations, pacemaker and ICD implants, Watchman, MitraClip, coronary angiography, ECHO, and lead extractions/reimplantation
• Charting performed in Epic
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Free onsite parking available

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or compact RN license; pending licenses are accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Preferred certifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and TNCC
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Circulating and scrub experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted
