American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric PACU travel position in Washington, D.C., requiring an active D.C. nursing license and 2-3 years of pediatric post-anesthesia care experience.

Details

• Pediatric PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) setting within a children's hospital
• Pediatric patient population requiring post-anesthesia and pre-testing care
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active D.C. RN license currently in hand — candidates who have not yet applied for their D.C. license cannot be considered
• 2-3 years of pediatric post-anesthesia care (PACU) and pre-testing experience required
• Clean background and license history required — no exceptions

Additional Information

• Required onboarding modules must be completed within the first week of the assignment
• Any shifts missed due to call-outs must be made up at the end of the contract, with additional days added accordingly
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
