American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Asheville, NC, requiring 2+ years of ED experience and active NC or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Position is located in the Emergency Care Center department of a hospital setting
• Day shift hours are 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Contract duration is 10 weeks

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC accepted), ACLS, TNCC, CPI (or accepted equivalent: SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA), and NIH Stroke Scale
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Orientation consists of a 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour shift on the unit
• Navy, white, or a combination of navy and white scrubs are required for RNs
• Tobacco use is prohibited in all buildings, entrances, and on all campus properties, including personal vehicles in campus parking areas
