American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a night shift travel contract at a hospital in Asheville, NC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Work is performed in the Neonatal ICU (NICU) of an acute care hospital in Asheville, NC
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• NRP (Advanced 9th Edition, American Academy of Pediatrics) required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• Orientation consists of a 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour on-unit shift
• RNs are required to wear all navy, all white, or a combination of navy and white scrubs
• Tobacco use is strictly prohibited on all campus properties, including personal vehicles in designated parking areas
