American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Case Management position at a large hospital in Asheville, NC, requiring 2+ years of experience and proficiency with Cerner.

Details

• Position is based in the Care Management unit of an 815-bed hospital in Asheville, NC
• Caseload ratio is 1:40
• Documentation systems used include Cerner, NATE, and Ensocare (post-acute system)
• Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Self-scheduling is available
• Floating is required where needed across all units
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN case management experience required
• Strong documentation and communication skills required
• Ability to multitask and shift attention between tasks
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include working collaboratively with RNCMs, managing documentation, communicating with patients and families, and building trust across the care team
• Business attire is required — scrubs are not worn in this role
• Supportive leadership and strong teamwork are highlighted features of this unit
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• This is a travel position; local candidates will not be considered
