Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist (RTT) for a 13-week travel contract at a cancer center in Asheville, NC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and hands-on Elekta linac and Mosaiq EMR experience.

• Located in a dedicated Cancer Center Radiation Therapy department in Asheville, NC
• Equipment includes 2 Elekta Versa HD linear accelerators, a GE Lightspeed CT simulator, and an Accuray M6 CyberKnife
• Team consists of 9 radiation therapists total
• Patient ratios are 2.5 therapists per linac, 2 per CyberKnife, and 2 per CT simulator
• Daily treatments include CBCT, IGRT, IMRT, and 3D conformal on linacs; DiBH on CRad performed on Infinity 1 linac
• EMR system is Mosaiq; experience is required
• Day shift only, 8.5-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM
• Hours may occasionally extend past 6:00 PM depending on patient volumes
• Float to CT simulation as needed
• No weekend or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
• Active experience within the last 6 months in radiation therapy required
• Elekta linac experience required
• Mosaiq EMR experience required
• CT simulation experience preferred
• CRad motion management experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted

Additional Information

• Perform daily radiation therapy treatments utilizing advanced modalities including CBCT, IGRT, IMRT, DiBH, and 3D conformal techniques
• Strong communication skills, self-motivation, high energy, and a team-oriented attitude are important for success in this role
• Navy blue top with navy blue or gray bottoms required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
