American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Meditech EMR proficiency, and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling can be accommodated
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Meditech EMR experience is required for ER RNs

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — AHA-issued copies required
• Meditech EMR experience required
• Flu vaccination required — no exemptions accepted
• Date of birth (DOB), Social Security Number (SSN), and 2 professional references required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
• RTO is limited; only 1 holiday off will be approved
• On-site drug screening will be conducted on the first day of the assignment
