American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Mother Baby / Post Partum night shift position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring 2+ years of experience and active OK or Compact RN licensure.

Details

• Mother Baby unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 4x12s — no exceptions
• Weekends required as per facility policy
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required as needed
• EMR: Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Oklahoma or active Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documented renewal is scheduled
• Minimum 1 year of recent Mother Baby / Post Partum experience required
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs are not accepted)
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Coordinates care with other departments and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with organizational mission and values

• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate — after 3 consecutive 13-week contracts, a 1-year separation from the facility or transfer outside the 50-mile radius is required
