American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a specialty hospital Case Management position requiring Epic proficiency and inpatient acute care experience in a comprehensive stroke and cardiac care environment.

Details

• Work setting is a specialty hospital with a focus on neurological and cardiac patient populations
• Case management role involves care coordination for neuro and cardiac patients at a comprehensive stroke center
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Minimum of 2 weekend days required per month, typically split (e.g., 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday in separate weekends)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating to other campuses (Issaquah, First Hill, Ballard) may be required if census is low

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Inpatient/acute care experience required
• Case management experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide case management and care coordination for neurological and cardiac patients at a comprehensive stroke center
• First-time travelers with inpatient acute care experience are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 3 months and must reside more than 50 miles away to be eligible
• Former permanent staff of other Providence facilities (non-Swedish) are eligible after a separation of at least 3 months
• All time-off requests must be communicated prior to submission, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
