American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position in Boston, MA, requiring dedicated MICU experience, Level 1 trauma background, and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting within a large academic health system in Boston, MA
• Dedicated Medical ICU unit with A/B designation
• 12-hour rotating night shifts
• Every third weekend required
• 7-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required and must be in hand
• Current certifications required: CPR/BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of dedicated Medical ICU (MICU) experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Nurse manager will conduct an interview prior to offer — interview availability must be provided at time of consideration
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration
• Orientation is held weekly every Monday, excluding holidays
• Candidates who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health (travel, permanent, or per diem) within the last 6 months are not eligible — a minimum 6-month separation from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility is required
• COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted
• Parking in the Boston area can cost up to $43/day — candidates should plan accordingly
