American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Hematology/Oncology Infusion position at a cancer center, requiring an ONS Chemo/Bio Card and recent trauma experience.

Details

• Hematology/Oncology Infusion suite within a dedicated cancer center
• 30-bed/chair infusion unit serving approximately 70 patients per day
• Responsibilities include administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other non-chemotherapy medications
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Card required
• BLS certification required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• Two managerial references required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, education, side effect management, monitoring, and emotional support
• IV skills and mediport access experience are preferred but not required
• Pediatric hematology/oncology experience is preferred but not required
