American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience with BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.

Details

• Position is in a 10-bed ICU at an acute care hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2
• Common diagnoses include DKA, COPD, acute respiratory failure, sepsis, cardiac arrest, ischemic stroke, GI bleed, atrial fibrillation with RVR, hypertensive emergency, ETOH withdrawal, acute renal failure, pancreatitis, and bowel obstruction
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within specialty, to other units, and to sister facilities within scope of practice
• No on-call responsibilities
• Self-scheduling with holidays required as they fall on the schedule

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required

• Navy blue scrubs required
