American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department position at an academic/teaching facility in St. Louis, Missouri, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in a 42-bed Emergency Department at a Level 1 Trauma Center with 5 dedicated trauma rooms
• Academic and research-oriented medical center serving as a tertiary care facility for the east Missouri region
• High-volume department averaging approximately 130 patients per day
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating is not required
• Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center is required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
