American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) position specializing in adolescent mood disorders, with night shifts and a minimum of 2 years of experience required.

Details

• Works in a behavioral health unit at a 337-bed psychiatric facility
• Specializes in adolescent mood disorders patient population
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to any age population is required when scheduling needs arise
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Sunrise for charting
• Free parking available on campus

Requirements

• Active RN license in Maryland or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of behavioral health/psychiatric RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland prior to start
• Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

• RNs may be assigned charge nurse duties during a shift on an as-needed basis
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Up to 1 pre-approved RTO request allowed during the contract
