Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CVOR position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, including heart and lung transplant and trauma case experience.

Details

• Work in a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) setting within a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (9:00–21:30)
• Heart and lung transplant cases are a core part of the caseload
• Trauma cases are also performed in this unit

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license in good standing — no licensure hits accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR/cardiovascular OR experience required
• Experience with heart and lung transplants required
• Trauma case experience required
• Level 2 trauma experience required; Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
• Completed skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
