American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) travel assignment in Lawrenceville, Georgia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience and the ability to manage very high-acuity neonatal patients.

Details

• Located within a women's pavilion dedicated maternity and neonatal care setting
• Neonatal ICU unit caring for very high-acuity patients from 22 weeks gestation and greater
• Intensive care therapies provided include total body cooling, conventional ventilation up to High Frequency Oscillator Ventilation (HFOV), inhaled nitric oxide, vasopressor/sedation continuous IV drips, central line maintenance, and neonatal resuscitation
• 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a), schedule varies
• 13-week contract
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia (GA) or a Compact state license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications (must not be expired)
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being eligible
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
