American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with strong orthopedic and cataract surgery experience, including the ability to scrub DaVinci Robotics cases, for a 13-week OR assignment at an ambulatory surgical center in Danvers, MA.

• Primary work location is an ambulatory surgical center in Danvers, MA featuring 4 ORs; occasional travel to a nearby hospital campus (10 OR suites) may be required
• Services include General, GYN, Orthopedics (total joints), GU, ENT, Vascular, Robotics, and Spine
• 9-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM; shift may extend beyond 4:30 PM if cases run late
• Call shifts may be required: 2–3 shifts per schedule period, with options including 11:00 PM–7:00 AM on weeknights or 12-hour shifts on weekends (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM); 30-minute call response time required
• Floating to an additional campus may be required as needed
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• MA license required if applicable
• Strong hands-on experience in orthopedic surgery and cataract surgery required
• Ability to scrub DaVinci Robotics cases required
• Spine surgery experience preferred
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required prior to start; personal and religious exemptions are not accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required; medical exemptions are accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
