American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) position at a Level II Trauma facility in California, requiring at least 2 years of experience and an active CA RN license.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit
• Level II Trauma Center
• Day shift with varied start times; 8- or 10-hour shifts available
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• On-call required
• First to float policy applies
• 13-week contract
• Cerner EMR used in this position

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; must be active at time of consideration — pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS — pending certifications not accepted
• COVID vaccination required
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is 12 hours
• Candidates must pass the Relias Dysrhythmia exam (basic or advanced) before an offer can be confirmed
• A pass/fail sterile technique test covering Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes is administered on the first day of orientation
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
