American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Unit (Cardiac 5C) position requiring Epic EMR experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Work in a Cardiac unit (5C) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active IL RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Associate's degree (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• English proficiency required (speak, read, write)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Provides patient care using the nursing process, including initial assessments, individualized care plans, and ongoing modifications based on patient and family needs
• Responsible for accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation to support the broader healthcare team
• Contributes to patient and staff safety by identifying and addressing hazards and incidents
• Participates in peer development and ongoing professional education
• RTO may not exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
• Candidates who have been on assignment at any Carle Health location continuously for 1 year must take a 6-month break in service before returning
