American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR position at a 230-bed acute care teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of direct CVOR experience and an active FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a 230-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
• Assignment is in the Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) unit
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• On-call is required: approximately 6 cardiac call shifts per month minimum (1 per weekday, 2 weekend shifts), with weekend call being 24-hour shifts; may increase up to 10 shifts per month depending on staffing
• Floating within scope of practice is required to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling is not available
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Free parking is available in any unrestricted space

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of direct CVOR experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start
• Cardiac OR experience and ability to perform other OR cases when no CVOR cases are scheduled
• Driver's license and Social Security card copy required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Must be nicotine-free — a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine (nicotine) is required; no exceptions
