American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with LA State License, ARRT(T), and 2+ years of experience for a hospital-based Radiation Therapy unit in New Orleans.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiation Therapy unit
• Average daily census of 80 patients
• 1:1 patient ratio with 2 therapists always assigned per machine
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, four 10-hour days per week
• Hours may flex based on patient volumes
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Louisiana State Radiation Therapist license required if applicable
• Current ARRT(T) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• ARRT(R) certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience required
• All BLS and other certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible
• Upon accepting an assignment, you may be assigned to an Emergency Team and expected to remain at the facility during an emergency event or serve as part of a relief team
• Candidates who are not comfortable with emergency event expectations should not apply
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
