American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position in New Orleans requiring 2 years of experience and a Louisiana or Compact RN license, working night shifts in a 1:6 patient ratio environment.

Details

• Medical/surgical float pool position within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active LA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Required certification: BLS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and CPI
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
• RTO is capped at 5 days for this assignment
