American Traveler is seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs with a minimum of 4-5 years of ED experience and Epic ASAP proficiency for a 13-week travel contract in Lake Charles, LA.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) setting in a hospital environment
• Primarily mid-shift hours: 11a–11p, 1p–1a, or 3p–3a, with flexibility required to meet department needs
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 4–5 years of ED/emergency nursing experience required
• Experience in a Level 3 or above trauma center preferred
• Epic ASAP experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and NRP
• ENPC certification preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Travel nursing experience is preferred
• Prior travel experience is a plus but not required
• RTO is extremely limited — candidates should have no planned vacation or travel during the contract period
• Local candidates are eligible at the same rate as traveling candidates
