American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Springfield, TN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience and active ACLS certification.

Details

• Located in a 109-bed hospital in Springfield, TN
• Assignment in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Unit 746)
• Procedures performed include LHC, R/LHC, stent placement, peripheral angiography, LINQ implant/explant, generator changes, and pacemaker implants
• Uses Philips cath lab equipment and Merge hemodynamic monitoring system
• Meditech EMR is used for documentation
• Schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (with possible variation to 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — TN or Compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience required
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Strong critical thinking skills required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• Professional reference required (one reference for most states; two references required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs are required; scrubs are not provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible, no exceptions
