Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel contract requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 18 months of permanent ED experience prior to travel.

Details

• Hospital Emergency Department (ED) setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) ED experience required prior to travel
• Epic EMR experience required
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the ED specialty required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required
• Holiday coverage required — traveler must work at least every other holiday
• After 18 consecutive months at any facility location, a minimum 6-month gap is required before beginning another assignment at the same health system
