American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level 2 Trauma Center in Jersey City, NJ, requiring the ability to both circulate and scrub across multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• Operating Room setting within a Level 2 Trauma Center
• Patient mix includes all OR specialties except open heart surgery, including orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro cases
• Robotic and ENT surgical cases are part of the workload
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• On-call required 2 times per schedule
• Charting system: Epic

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care OR experience required
• Must be proficient in both circulating and scrubbing
• Robotic and ENT surgical experience required
• Experience in orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgical specialties required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current professional references required

• Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
