American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with procedural support experience for a day shift Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics position at a hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Details

• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• RRT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy
• Strong procedural support experience is essential
• Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration
• RTO must be declared upfront; max 7 days, and RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are eligible for this position
• Candidates must be away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler
• Willingness to expand skill set beyond current procedural experience is a plus
• Holiday coverage is expected: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• No special scheduling requests, alternate shifts, or schedule changes are permitted — the listed shift is firm
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time; delays in compliance may result in a two-week pushback due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule
