American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU (SICU) position at a Level 1 Trauma, Magnet teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active DC RN license.

Details

• Works in the Surgical ICU (SICU) of a 228-bed acute care, Level 1 Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:30–08:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
• No on-call responsibilities
• Charting performed in Cerner Sorian (1st Generation)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required; pending licensure not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of SICU or relevant RN experience required (4 years preferred)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Every other holiday coverage is required
• Maximum of 1 RTO request for the duration of the contract
• Royal blue scrubs required
