Description

American Traveler is hiring an LPN/LVN with at least 1 year of LTC experience for an 8-week long-term care assignment covering evening and overnight shifts with EOW weekend coverage.

Details

• Skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care setting with an average daily census of 120 patients
• Patient population includes a mix of long-term care and rehab patients
• Patient ratios are 1:20 on days and weekends, and 1:40 on nights
• Scheduled for a mix of evening (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) and overnight (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) shifts on a 5x8 schedule
• Every other weekend (EOW) coverage required, totaling 8 weekend shifts over the 8-week contract
• Required to float between all 3 units within the building
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Current LPN/LVN license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in an LTC setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency in blood glucose monitoring/testing required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Availability for both evening and overnight shifts, including every other weekend
