Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry Float position requiring a permanent MA RN license, ACLS, and a minimum of 3 years of telemetry and cardiac telemetry experience.

Details

• Inpatient Med Surg/Telemetry units in a hospital setting
• Float position covering all inpatient units, including ER boarders, as needed
• Patient population includes telemetry and cardiac patients requiring cardiac drips
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Charting in Epic (experience required)
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend and holiday requirement
• Schedule is based on unit needs; block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Must have flexibility to start up to 4 hours before or after scheduled shift start time based on critical department need

Requirements

• Permanent MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS and CPI certifications preferred
• Minimum 3 years of telemetry and cardiac telemetry nursing experience required
• Must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or above
• Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions

• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG test
