American Traveler is hiring an experienced Surgical Services CVOR Tech (RN) for a cardiovascular OR position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring at least 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across both campuses
• Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) unit performing CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, minimally invasive valve procedures, VATS, Mediastinoscopy, RATS, CVL support with carotid cutdowns, and laser lead standby
• Flexible endoscope reprocessing involved; bronchoscopes, EGD scopes, and EBUS preferred
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Weekend call required: 1–2 weekday call shifts (Mon–Thu) per week and 1 weekend per month (Fri, Sat, Sun), dependent on staffing
• Floating required to Main OR
• Charting via Epic (required)

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact license; pending license accepted
• Current BLS certification required; NBSTSA preferred
• Minimum 2 years of surgical tech/scrub experience required
• Required procedural experience: General, Cardiovascular/Thoracic, and Laparoscopic
• Preferred procedural experience: OB/GYN, Plastic, ENT, Urology, Robotic, Ortho/Totals, Neuro/Craniotomy, and Transplant
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to scrub solo for cardiothoracic cases
• Minimum 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within Washington State; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
