Description

American Traveler is seeking a highly experienced RN - ECMO Specialist for a pediatric critical care position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ECMO experience and an OH or compact RN license.

Details

• 13-week contract in a pediatric hospital setting
• ECMO Specialist unit supporting three critical care areas: NICU, PICU, and CICU
• Patients include pediatric and neonatal cases requiring ECMO for respiratory failure, heart failure, or as a bridge to heart/lung transplant
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of ECMO specialist and pump management experience required
• Must be able to provide ECMO support across multiple critical care environments (NICU, PICU, CICU)
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing prolonged cardiac and respiratory support to patients whose heart and/or lungs are unable to sustain adequate gas exchange or perfusion
• Supports patients on ECMO through recovery or as a bridge to heart/lung transplant across all three pediatric critical care units
