American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - ECMO Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of ECMO experience and active pump management skills for a 13-week night shift contract at a pediatric hospital in Cincinnati, OH.

Details

• ECMO Specialist unit within a large pediatric hospital setting
• Supports patients across three critical care units: NICU, PICU, and CICU
• Patient population includes neonatal and pediatric patients on ECMO for respiratory and/or cardiac failure, including those bridging to heart or lung transplant
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ECMO specialist and pump management experience required
• Experience supporting patients in critical care settings (NICU, PICU, and/or CICU) required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing prolonged cardiac and respiratory support to pediatric patients whose heart and/or lungs are unable to sustain adequate gas exchange or perfusion
• Provides ECMO support across all three critical care units within the facility
