American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with at least 2 years of experience, including GI, surgery, and Level 1 Trauma, for an evening shift contract at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Oak Lawn, IL.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient radiology department within a 749-bed Level 1 Trauma Center with Magnet designation and Comprehensive Stroke Center status
• 4 outpatient rooms and 5 inpatient rooms
• Patient population includes general X-ray patients requiring both portable and non-portable imaging; surgery experience preferred
• Experience with GI, surgery, and Level 1 Trauma cases required
• Equipment includes GE XR rooms, Siemens Fluoroscopy, GE C-Arm, and Fuji Portables
• Charting performed in Epic
• 8-hour evening shifts, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• One holiday required per contract term

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist with core X-ray skills
• Experience in GI, surgery, and Level 1 Trauma settings required
• Active ARRT certification, BLS, and IEMA license required
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency with general X-ray, portable imaging, fluoroscopy, and C-arm equipment
• Epic EMR experience
• Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• Multiple X-ray techs are on shift at any given time, providing a well-supported team environment
• Unit orientation provided to learn department flow
• No on-call or call-back requirements
