American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN with 2+ years of experience and MO licensure for a 13-week night shift assignment in an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) in Chesterfield, MO.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital (IRF) setting with 81 private rooms across multiple floors
• Rehab nursing unit serving adult patients (18+) recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, multiple trauma, and other conditions
• Patient ratios of approximately 1:6-7 on days and 1:8 on nights; each nurse has a dedicated patient care tech
• Uses Epic EHR
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Float requirement within 5 units: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the state of Missouri (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of LPN experience
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• IV Certification required prior to consideration
• Flu vaccination or approved facility-specific medical/religious exemption required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• CRRN certification is preferred
• Black scrubs required; agency-provided ID badge must be worn
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Travelers who do not receive the flu vaccine must submit a completed facility-specific exemption form and provide email approval; unvaccinated travelers must wear a mask from November 1 through March 31 while on facility premises
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2 years of experience is required
