American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN for a 13-week travel contract at an academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring a minimum of 3 years of RN experience and at least 1 year of travel PACU experience.

Details

• Position is in the PACU unit of a large academic medical center in Boston, MA
• 36-hour weekly schedule with day/night rotating shifts
• Up to 2 weekend shifts required per month
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of PACU travel nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of academic medical center experience required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
• Proof of MA licensure required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced rate
• No validated parking is available at the Boston location; public parking is available at an out-of-pocket cost, and public transportation is recommended
• Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position due to the travel PACU experience requirement
