Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Medical Surgical/Emergency Department position at a Critical Access Hospital in Minnesota, requiring ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications and a minimum of 2 years of ED/Med Surg experience.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital setting, working primarily in the ED with crossover to Med/Surg
• Primary night shift with day shift coverage, 12-hour shifts (3x12)
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating between unlike units

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of ED/Med Surg experience required; 5+ years of ER experience preferred
• Primary ED experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• COVID vaccination required
• Epic EMR experience
• Experienced travelers only — first-time travelers will not be considered
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required

Additional Information

• Candidate must be capable of taking on charge nurse responsibilities
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• RTO must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; requests will not be approved after an offer is extended
• Maximum of 1 week of RTO allowed for the duration of the assignment
• Candidate cannot take every holiday off — holiday coverage is expected
• All call-outs must be communicated with more than 24 hours advance notice
• Full 7-year work history with all employment gaps explained is required
