Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a Level 2 Trauma Center position requiring the ability to both Circulate and Scrub, with robotic, ENT, and multi-specialty surgical experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting at a Level 2 Trauma Center
• Patient mix includes all OR specialties except open heart surgery, including ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, neuro, robotic, and ENT procedures
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call required twice per schedule
• Charting system: Epic

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care OR experience required
• Must be proficient in both Circulating and Scrubbing
• Robotic and ENT surgical experience required
• Experience in ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgical specialties required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current professional references required

• Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
