Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RNFA for an OR First Assist position requiring robotic surgery experience, including da Vinci systems, and a CT or compact RN license.

Details

• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call required 1–2 times per week until 8:00 PM
• Sunday call coverage required every 2nd or 3rd weekend, 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Operating Room setting with first assist responsibilities
• Cases include robotic surgery (da Vinci), total joints, spine, and plastics
• Free parking available on site

Requirements

• Active CT or compact RN license required
• RNFA certification or designation required
• Robotic surgery experience required, specifically da Vinci systems
• First assist experience in the OR required
• Experience in total joints, spine, and/or plastics preferred
• Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions
• 1 professional reference required for consideration
• Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccination required; religious or medical exemptions considered

Additional Information

• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved during the contract
• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
