Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) position in Maine, requiring active ME or compact licensure and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Details

• 13-week contract in a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) at a hospital setting in Maine
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend may be required at the request of the Department Manager or Supervisor
• Pay period runs Sunday through Saturday

Requirements

• Active ME RN license or compact license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position

Additional Information

• Performs patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
• Must be a team player with flexible availability
• Holiday coverage required for: Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
• Travelers may work a maximum of 2 consecutive 13-week assignments at this facility and must leave for at least 26 weeks before returning
